hello everyone
today we will learn about the Pcie bus
between the CPU and the graphics card
CPU and the graphics card
the communication bus between GPU and CPU
we call it peg bus
used for CPU and GPU control and signal transmission
this peg bus
which is upgraded from the previous Pcie 2.0 bus
so in some circuit diagrams
it is still called the Pcie bus
this bus has a total of 16 groups
but some models will not use all of them
some models only use 8 or 4 of them
it consists of 4 wires in each group
these 4 lines are composed of a pair of sending
and a pair of receiving
the data is transmitted through the coupling capacitor
in the middle
the PG bus is the part identified in the picture
GPU on the left
CPU on the right
there are many coupling capacitors on the Pcie bus
one end of the capacitor is connected to the GPU
and the other end is connected to the CPU
in the circuit diagram it looks like this
one end is connected to the GPU
the other end is connected to the CPU
this capacitor is connected in series in the Pcie bus
the role of the coupling capacitor here
is to isolate the DC voltage at both ends
ensure the normal communication of high
speed signals at both ends
this also applies to the characteristics of capacitors
the characteristics of allowing high
speed signals to path through
and separating the 2 ends of the DC
this is the Pcie bus
between the CPU and the graphics card
