hello everyone
today let's learn about CNVI Bus
CNVI Bus is Intel's new dedicated connection interface
for Wifi and Bluetooth
it can reduce costs and simplified its wireless modules
the current wireless network card uses the m.2
interface the Wi Fi communicates with the chip set
through the Pcie Time one bus
Bluetooth communicates with the chip set
through USB bus
the network device in the CNVI bus
which is the Wi Fi module
most of its functions are integrated into the chipset
only the signal processing
analog and RF functions remain on the external
upgradeable companion RF module
therefore
the CNVI bus is the bus that connects the chipset
and the Wi Fi and blue modules
from this architecture diagram
we can see that the WT part of the CNVI bus
is the sending circuit
that belongs to the chipset
the chipset sends data to the Wi Fi module
through these 6 lines of W t
W R this part is the receiver circuit of the chipset
the chipset receives the data transmitted by Wi Fi
through these 6 lines
the lines of RGI and BRI
are connected to the Bluetooth Moujou
used by Bluetooth
the advantage of CNVI bus is that it no longer
occupies the Pcie channel
provided by the chipset
pushing motorboard makers to adapt integrated
wireless network cards
