How to use bitmap
This video mainly explains how to use bitmap
When using bitmaps, generally use some shortcut keys to operate
Sliding the scroll wheel of the mouse up means that the bitmap is zoomed in,
and sliding the scroll wheel down means that the bitmap is zoomed out
After clicking any red solder point in the bitmap,
if the solder points at different positions also turn into the same yellow color
The same yellow means they are connected
When the multimeter buzzer to measure any two yellow points, it will display 000
If OL is displayed,
it means that the line is disconnected and we have to connect it with a wire
Next, let me demonstrate the application of the bitmap in actual maintenance
For example, when repairing iPhone 12 without display failure,
it is necessary to measure the diode value of the display connector
The measured value can be compared with the reference value given by the bitmap
If the value is 0, it means that there is a short circuit
and the components connected to the line are damaged
If the measured value is similar to the reference value, it is normal
If the measured value is OL,
it means that there may be a disconnection in the line
For example, when measuring the pin, the value shows OL,
it is possible that the pin is disconnected
Next, let's check the reference value given by the bitmap
After we open the iPhone 12 bitmap,
slide the mouse wheel up to zoom in on the bitmap,
and it will show that there will be a corresponding value on the connection seat
Just measured the value of the 9th pin is OL
The reference value given in the bitmap is also OL
After clicking the pin, the other connector pin also turns yellow,
indicating that the two pins are connected
This pin is only connected to the socket, not connected to other chips,
indicating that the OL value is also normal
At this time, we can also use the multimeter buzzer to measure whether the two pins are connected
If they are connected, it means that there is no problem with the line
Let's measure
The multimeter is first adjusted to the buzzer position,
one marker measures the connector pin 9,
and the other marker easures the second pin of the lower connection seat
The value shows 000.5,
which means that the line is connected, indicating that the line is normal
Ok, that's all for this video
